Jack Scott, P.Eng, has over 25 years of experience in the oil sector, with 15 of those spent on international ventures. His main area of expertise is the development of world-class oil and gas operating companies in the Latin America.
Prior establishing Top Drilling with partner Mike Alborta, Jack was the Chief Operating Officer of Petrominerales, where his responsibilities included the management of annual budgets in excess of USD500 million, targeted at exploration and production activities in Colombia and Peru. During his time at Petrominerales, Jack was instrumental in transforming operations from 2,500 bpd of non-operated production to operated production of over 25,000 bpd. Jack started his career at Petrominerales as an Executive Vice President and Country Manager.
Prior to Petrominerales, Jack was a Vice President, Engineering at Eurogas, where his responsibilities included the technical oversight of the reservoir engineering aspects of the Castor gas storage facility. Prior to Eurogas, Jack held various management, engineering and consulting positions at Premier Oil, SaskPower International, Canada Northwest Energy, Westcoast Petroleum and Amoco Canada.
Jack graduated with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and is a professional engineer and member of APEGA.
